Missionary Moms, Dads, Grandparents and Families

As with any proud parent, when your child is doing something good you want the world to know. I made a "Missionary Mom" button with my friend's daughter's picture. She is serving a LDS mission and her family is very proud. (So are her neighbors.) Along with proud parents are Missionaries living away from home. I put a family picture on this button along with the words, "My Family Loves Me". What's special about this button is the magnet on the back so that the missionary can hang this small reminder of home on their refrigerator and see it often.

Of course, this button could have a picture of your child playing their favorite sport or just smiling.

Volleyball Gone Crazy

We are in full SWING with Volleyball. I decided to do buttons for each of the girls on the team including the managers and coaches. I couldn't resist doing a few other fun ones. From the team members and their numbers to their theme for the year, I also found some great sayings to go along with them. The girls put them on their bags, which to me is a great success. I hope they enjoy them as much as I enjoy watching them Dig It!!! Let me know what you think...

NEW YOUNG WOMEN BUTTONS

I have been trying to think of a button for young women. Today I put these buttons together. Thinking of the new value, Virtue, I included all of the young women values and bordered them around "Unfurl Your Banner". This is to remind the young women to recommit to be a Young Woman of Virtue. I recently gave my Beehives a challenge to look up all of the things that a Virtuous Young Woman is. We have been challenged by our Prophet, Thomas S. Monson, to become a Woman of Virtue. Our General Young Women President, Sister Dalton, challenged the Young Women and Women of this world to "unfurl their banner" and "stand for truth and righteousness". My own Young Women are such an example to me and I strive to be like them in many ways. They are very good and happy people.

New Buttons

Okay, so our friend is going through cancer treatments and he is enduring A LOT of pain. Because he and his dear wife have quite the sense of humor, I couldn't resist making some buttons for him to wear. I hope they know we're thinking about them as they go through this trial.

Our Dear Old High School, We're Loyal Unto You...

This year we will be celebrating the BRHS Class of ?#?@!?? Reunion! WOW! Has the Time Flown By Or What? UGH! We have been visiting as a class on FaceBook and it has been so much fun to re-connect with everyone. Oh The Memories!

After I got my button machine and started making buttons, I realized there was "flair" on FB. Well, guess what? Instead of just having it on your FB page, you can now have FB "flair" with you ALL the time. Hee Hee!

HeLLo... I Feel Like This Sometimes Too

Thanks to Laura, my mom's boss, for this button. Apparently this is a common thought for her. Me, too, actually. I did this button in several colors.

Women's Conference and Boutique

We are so excited! We have been invited to share Green Tea HP and Button Rukus at a Women's Conference and Boutique this Saturday, May 2nd. I am so excited to share my two most favorite products. I am also excited to meet Jill Williams from JillieWillie.com. She will be speaking and also sharing her wonderful aprons and gloves.
Finally, I have downloaded my first button! I am working on getting a slideshow. I have made so many buttons and have so many more ideas to get to. Whew! Just to have this one here makes me smile! Let me know what you think so far.

Today is the day!

I put together some new badges today and have had a blast creating them. I'm certain I won't be getting too much sleep in the next while as I'm having too much fun creating. The kids are having almost as much fun as I am, and we are always thinking of what the next button will say.

On that note, my nephews had been spending the weekend with us and were having great fun playing outside with the boys. After the frisbee went under the play house, Ben ran to retrieve it. Forgetting to "duck", he came up a little too soon and his his head "smacked" onto the wood. Unfortunately, he had a big old gash in his head. After calming him down (he was VERY BRAVE and NEVER SHED A TEAR) and cleaning him off to assess the situation, we could only help by offering him words of encouragement. Hence, "Chicks Dig Scars" was born. Check it out. Thanks Ben for this inspiration!
